Dr. Juliana Ybarra

Dr. Juliana Ybarra is a multiethnic (Latinx, Black, Indigenous, and Italian) queer psychologist. She has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field working with adults, teens, and families. She has held positions as a program director, clinical supervisor, trainer, and psychologist at various non-profits around the Bay Area.

Dr. Ybarra practices with a strong belief in the healing power of meaningful relationships. She believes that cultivating fulfilling relationships with others leads to lasting transformation. Dr. Ybarra welcomes patients to bring all parts of themselves to therapy and understands how systems of oppression specifically impact BIPOC and LGBTQIAA+ people.

Outside of her work as a psychologist, Dr. Ybarra enjoys spending time with her dog (RM), learning from plants, taking dance class, and traveling. She is currently studying traditional Latinx healing practices and clinical herbalism. Dr. Ybarra resides in Oakland,CA, with her family.
